WSGA Meeting Report

Last Thursday Jan 28, five members from the men's club board, attend a WSGA ( Washington State Golf Association ) meeting at Walter Hall golf course for the purpose of finding out ways to increase membership. There were a lot of good ideas brought out that we'll explore further to help increase membership. We were promised that a WSGA computer will be installed at Harbor Pointe by March 1st, so we can post handicap scores. In order for you to post on that computer, you'll need to join the WSGA, which will cost $25.00 for the year. This will be an additional charge. Your membership fees will only cover EZLinks score posting, which is sufficient for most of us. If you plan to play in any WSGA run tournaments then you'll need to join the WSGA. EZlinks handicap is good for all other tournaments i.e. USGA.  We're hoping this will satisfy your handicap needs and you'll make that decision to renew your membership.
