What a great day for a tournament in February. This was to be the inaugural 27 hole event but the morning frost delay changed it to 18 holes, but once the tournament started it was a great day, with a great turn out, thanks for the support guys. The blogger boy finally found someone he could ride to victory and came home with some love, thanks Eric!!!!!!!!!!  Here's the results read and weep.

27 Hole Tournament

Calling all golfers this is a reminder that saturday the 20th will be the 27Hole Tournament. This is a two man comp. with play being best ball, combined and alternate shot.The weather looks to be really good,so lets get out and support this tournament.Also the greens will be punched on the 8th and 9th of March, so there's only a couple of tounaments before this work is done.

WSGA Meeting Report

Last Thursday Jan 28, five members from the men's club board, attend a WSGA ( Washington State Golf Association ) meeting at Walter Hall golf course for the purpose of finding out ways to increase membership. There were a lot of good ideas brought out that we'll explore further to help increase membership. We were promised that a WSGA computer will be installed at Harbor Pointe by March 1st, so we can post handicap scores. In order for you to post on that computer, you'll need to join the WSGA, which will cost $25.00 for the year. This will be an additional charge. Your membership fees will only cover EZLinks score posting, which is sufficient for most of us. If you plan to play in any WSGA run tournaments then you'll need to join the WSGA. EZlinks handicap is good for all other tournaments i.e. USGA.  We're hoping this will satisfy your handicap needs and you'll make that decision to renew your membership. If you're still confused about all this please use the comment section and let us know your concerns. We will answer.
