Summary of the Last Month

Fore!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi guys, it's been awhile, so I'm going to summarize the last thirty days of golf at the Pointe. But before I do that, I want to let you know about a meeting all club members need to go to! The Mens Club is having a general members meeting for all current members. The gathering will be at the Pointe Resteruant at 6 PM on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, the 1st of Dec. 2010. This will be an opportunity for everyone to get on the same page. There'll be information givin' out by the Pro shop, and the Mens Club and a Question  Answer session. This is a chance to get yourself heard. There'll be a general E-mail sent out to all members in the near future, mark that day on your calender. Now for the last thirty days. We had a great Rhodes Cup weekend with captain Lance Kilbride and honorary captain Keith Coleman, winning the team competition for this annual gala. If you haven't ever played in this event, you're missing something special. You qualify by earning points for playing in tournaments, ( Wed & Sat.) ,you don't have earn $ but it does help, so plan on playing as much as possible next season to give yourself a chance to make the teams.  The last Wed nite of the year was played this last month, and it was a great day weather wise and turn out.Thanks to all you guys for supporting your club all year long.We're in the middle of elections for new board members,there are seven candidates for three spots, so stop by the handicap computer and cast your vote.Finally we're in the middle the Home & Home competition between Redmond Ridge, Echo Falls & Harbour Pointe, with one more competition day left at Echo Falls on the 10th of Dec. Harbour is currently leading by a half a point. Thanks to all who have been able to play. Last, the Member Member is coming on the 4th of Dec 2010, so lets make this final Major of the year, a huge success, find a partner and get signed up.
